I am curious how 2x thru is divided into fixture_L and fixture_R in the 2x-thru de-embedding setup, in case that fixture_L and fixture_R is asymmetric. Or, is it assumed they are symmetric in this tool?

If not, is it separated by using the fixture+DUT+fixture SNP and finding the value iteratively?

Thank you,

Hi Doctor, thank you for developing a great tool.

I'd tried to get TDD11 from a Mixed S4P, but I found there was a big difference with PLTS. It's possible to define Max time of X axis. Thanks!

'SnpView' shows the full frequency range of the imported S-parameters file.
But, you can zoom in/out the chart.
Therefore, you can set any frequency range of the chart using the 'zoom' function as below.

First of all, thank you for using snpview.

We checked 2 s4p files in same folder (you shared).

A. dB chart question

1. USB_HOST_TEST_SPARAMS.s4p
-It shows same chart as Lecroy viwer.

2. USB_DEVICE_TEST_SPARAMS.s4p
- It has different [S] matrix data.
- The different chart should be shown in this case.

B. Eye chart question
-Calculation server occurs data transfer problem.
- We're going to fix this problem by this week. :^)

Thanks!

First...great tool, I love it.

When I look at a S13 Insertion Loss of a 4 port S-parameter with your online tool I do see a difference when loading this same s-parameter in the LeCroy Wavepulser40i S-parameter viewer.

The result are significant where I get -19.65dB@2.5GHz in the online tool and -15.64db@2.5GHz with the LeCroy tool.

Any idea where the difference is coming from?

The SP4 files that I'm looking at are from USB.ORG:
https://usb.org/document-library/usb-31-embedding-files

USB31_Embedding_Files\Embedding Files\5G_Standard_A\USB3_DEVICE_TEST_SPARAMS.s4p

Also when using this file the EYE diagram calculation hang at 85%.
